Goal & Objective

Hami Yuwa, Nepal is a registered, nonprofit, youth-led organization established in 2015, with youth-led initiatives active since 2011. Guided by the belief that young people are catalysts for positive change, we empower youth to become confident leaders, active citizens, and changemakers.

Our work focuses on creating inclusive opportunities for young people through leadership development, advocacy, and community engagement. We work across diverse sectors, including Child Education, Health, Youth and Children's Psychology, Youth and Women Empowerment, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With a strong network of young volunteers and community leaders, Hami Yuwa promotes diversity, inclusion, and civic participation, bringing together people from different backgrounds to build resilient, informed, and empowered communities.

Hami Yuwa envisions a society where youth, as indispensable change agents, are motivated with optimism and empowered with the potential and confidence to create positive change. We believe that energized youth will one day spread optimism and positivity among themselves and others.

Hami Yuwa’s leadership consists exclusively of youth between the ages of 16 and 35, with the organization governed and run by youth of this same age group. We also aim to foster youth-adult partnerships on various issues. Hami Yuwa is committed to serving all youth regardless of origin, area, ethnicity, race, religion, or political belief, embracing the principles of “unity in diversity” and “diversity in unity.”
